About
Gurgaon Diary is written from inside the city, not about it from a distance.
I’ve been here long enough to remember what most of these sectors looked like before the towers went up, to have watched the same stretch of road turn over three sets of restaurants, and to have firm opinions about which flyover was a mistake.
This is a running record of the parts worth knowing: where to eat, what’s opening and closing, which neighbourhoods are changing and how, and the practical civic reality that never makes it into a listicle.
What you’ll find here
- Eat & Drink — restaurants, bars, cafes, street food, and the places worth the drive.
- Things to Do — weekends, day trips, markets, parks, culture.
- Neighbourhoods — sector by sector: what’s where, what’s changed, what’s worth knowing.
- What’s On — events, openings, closings, this week.
- City Notes — civic news, infrastructure, traffic, monsoon, living-here reality.
Coverage
Mostly Gurgaon. Delhi when it’s worth the drive. Not Noida — that’s someone else’s beat.
